Jason Crane, CFA

Jason is a founding partner of Capital West Partners, LLC and his responsibility include the oversight of the fundamental research and all aspects of the portfolio management discipline. Jason has over 15 years experience in the investment management industry. Prior to establishing Capital West Partners, LLC Jason was employed at two regional investment management firms in the southwest where he was a fully licensed registered representative. Jason played hockey at Miami University and played professionally at the minor league level for four years before entering the business world. Jason is married to Brandie, a commercial airline pilot. Together they have a son and daughter, Boden and Rylie.

Jason J. Ruther

Education: B.S. Business, Northern Arizona University 1994

J.J. is a founding partner of Capital West Partners, LLC and his responsibilities include the oversight of the technical research process, hedging/income augmentation strategies, and all aspects of the portfolio management discipline. JJ has over 19 years experience in the investment management industry and was a portfolio manager at a regional brokerage firm before forming Capital West Partners, LLC. J.J. attended Northern Arizona University and earned a degree in finance while playing football for the Lumberjacks for four years. J.J.'s wife, Nancy, also attended Northern Arizona University and taught elementary school for seven years. Together they have 3 sons, Jake, Brady and Cole.
